So the track comes on and instantly we in Bumptown USA.I’m talkin’ bass knocking, speakers sweating, trunk rattling like it got a prayer request.
Then outta nowhere… references to God start sliding through the beat.
Now that right there is how you do it — slick Christian Hip Hop, modern and Kingdom-forward without sounding corny or forced. This record is so fly that I had to stop and actually listen to the lyrics just to figure out… who in the world is CJ Stroud?
Because listen…I ain’t seent him in any book of the Bible, Quran, not even on a napkin from the Shao Lin Temple. So who is this guy?
CJ Stroud is a real-life NFL quarterback, and he represents confidence, poise, and stepping into pressure like it’s just another day at the office. So Justo flips that name into a metaphor — the message is basically:
“When it’s time to show up, I’m showing up bold.”“I’m not scared to represent God in public.”“I’m not folding under pressure — I’m built for the moment.”
That’s why the title works:It’s not worship music… it’s war music. It’s “put your faith on your back and walk in that thing” music.
And when CJ Emulous slides in, it adds another layer — like two believers trading testimony over a beat that could easily live in mainstream rotation. The confidence is there, but it’s not arrogance — it’s that Holy Ghost kind of swagger that says:
“I know Who I belong to.”
Ahhhh… see… I don’t follow football like I follow Christ, but Justo put me up on game—pun intended.
Bottom line: This is a high-energy Kingdom anthem — faith-forward, street-ready, and culturally sharp. It’s the kind of track that makes you want to praise God with your chest out. If you’ve ever needed a reminder to stop playing small and start walking bold…Justo just handed you the soundtrack.
Now check this out… while I was looking for the “CJ Stroud” video, I just happened upon “Who Is That.” And let me tell you—this wasn’t an accident, this was one of them Holy Ghost algorithms 😄🙌🏾
Soon as the track comes on, it don’t ease into the room… it kicks the door open and starts pointing fingers—in a holy way.
This one got that “wait a minute…” energy.
You know that feeling when somebody walks in with authority and everybody suddenly stands up straighter? Yeah… that’s this track. It’s bold, confident, and full of that spiritual “WHO SENT YOU?” type of pressure.
But Justo ain’t asking “Who is that?” like he’s confused…
He asking it like:“Do you recognize what just walked in?”“Do you know Who’s really behind me?”“Do you see the power, or are you just staring at the person?”
Because the whole vibe of the record is this:When God puts His hand on you, people won’t understand it—so they’ll start asking questions.
“Who is that?”“Where did he come from?”“How he moving like that?”“Why he not breaking under pressure?”
And the answer is simple:
That’s God.That’s favor.That’s grace.That’s authority.
The beat rides like a soundtrack for elevation — not just dancing, but dominion. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to walk into the room like, “Excuse me… I’m here on assignment.” 😄
And that’s what Justo keeps doing: he takes a sound that could easily live in mainstream spaces and re-centers it around Christ without losing authenticity. No gimmicks, no forced church slang—just truth over rhythm.
Bottom line:“Who Is That” is for anybody who’s ever been counted out… then God raised you up so hard that people had to start asking questions.
So if you hear folks whispering your name this season—don’t get offended.
Just smile and let the record answer for you: “That’s the Lord’s doing… and it is marvelous.”
