Born in Los Angeles and raised in Pomona CA. Music began for Dennis when he received his first drum set at the age of 8.  At the age of 12 he was drumming for his church, First Union Missionary Baptist of Pomona California.  A year later, a tenor was needed for the choir so he was asked to fill that spot and has been singing ever since.  Dennis kept his love for percussion by joining the Pomona High School Marching Band.  The rest of his years he worked and raised a family while singing on the weekends for his church choir.  It wasn't until 2010 that he and choir member Allyson decided to join together and sing locally as a gospel/r&b duo called Intimate Praise.  Dennis and Allyson recorded their first project in 2012.  Both also sing for the Southern California traveling gospel group "Instruments For Christ" headed by Carlotta Washington.  Dennis still sings for his church now called First Union Living Word Christian Fellowship under the musical leadership of Sharmin Love-Gladney.  As co-host of IAG you can hear the vocal influences of his favorite artists Marvin Sapp, Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder.

Dennis joined IAG in February 2021 as a guest.  He showed up every week to support his singing partner Allyson.  Since he has never left, we figured he might as well be part of the family.
