leave it alone

We’ve had this southern Louisiana–flavored gem in rotation for a few weeks now, and somehow — with all the great music coming out — I managed to miss giving it the proper review it deserves. But if you don’t know by now, especially with this track creeping up the Mediabase airplay chart, let me make it plain:
This song is as churchy as you gon’ get.
Tracey Roy brings that down-home, foot-stomping, pew-shaking gospel vibe that makes you want to throw your hands up AND two-step at the same time. The vocals are strong, the message is solid, and the production is dipped in that southern seasoning that only Louisiana can provide.
“Leave It Alone” isn’t just a song — it’s a feeling. A reminder. A whole Sunday morning wrapped in three minutes.
If you needed a soundtrack to let go, let God, and stop stressing things that ain’t yours to fix…Tracey Troy delivered it.
