Reset time

Last month I was overwhelmed and this month Omega Sparx set me up with a RESET. Look how God works. Internet blogger Chasi gives good advice and 10 scriptures on resetting the mind, body and soul. https://sweatinmascara.com/10-scriptures-to-reset-your-mind-body-and-soul/

What I love about Omega Sparx and Holy Culture radio is that even though this is Christian Hip Hop, they stay true to real Hip Hop. Hot beats, fly lyrics and ill flow. Most CHH lacks all 3. Yep I said it. They only succeed because the lyrics are usually just “Jesus Loves Me”. Here’s a snippet of bboy lyrics with a christian flair.

If this is a walk in Christ, I done failed Him with each step

Couldn’t make Da Band, just like a Bad Boy reject

Ease back, I got secrets that hadn’t leaked yet

Trying put my Faith on deck, I’m pushing eject

Calling me to walk on water, don’t want my feet wet

Prophesied to be a preacher, don’t even tease that

I deflected all of this time ran out of pretext

Feeling like a shell of myself (well here’s the Reset!)

Yooooo! They doin’ some holy spittin’, the beat is mad phat and the delivery is hard. It’s hard work filtering out the good christian and gospel music...well it’s all gospel. But this is where you find the best in CHH, Urban Gospel, Urban Christian, Traditional Southern Gospel and that great Quartet music. For your praise and worship and all other slow contemporary christian and gospel fans, Ally Mo brings that at night here in the U.S. with “An Evening of Intimate Praise”....P.Diddy and gospel...well the only thing we know about Diddy and gospel is the TD Jakes rumors. What I do know, having been in the hip hop industry since 1985, wild parties is quite common. Diddy ain't the only one. Undercover after-parties in the hotel tend be more freaky than the mansion parties. Alcohol, drugs and one night hook ups is the successful mission of these "get togethers". Brother Moses what does that have to do with gospel? Glad you asked! Since recently sliding over to the "what i thought was safer" gospel industry, I've witnessed the undercover after-parties. Gospel folks won't dare do the mansion parties. That's too public. But many partake in the rituals of alcohol, drugs and one night hookups in the privacy of their hotel rooms. Of course you knew that. So onto the music and this wonderful thing we called life.
